For the third year running IQPC’s London office was buzzing to host several events to support a wonderful charity that makes an amazing difference to people’s lives – ellenor (https://ellenor.org/).
ellenor is the only charitable service in the country to provide end-of-life cancer and respite care, to people of all ages in the hospice, or the comfort of their own home. An incredible 93p in every £1 donated to ellenor goes directly to support and care for patients and their families. You will be extremely hard pushed to find a charity that can beat this amazing allocation of contributions.
We hold various events each year in which all of our employees are involved with and support through their generous donations.
First up, was a dress down Thursday in which everyone donated £1 to participate.
Next up was the ever popular bake sale.
Thanks to our team of bakers for a fantastic selection of delicious home-made chocolate cakes, rocky-roads, cup-cakes and a whole bunch of other tasty treats, that had us contemplating our gym resolutions.
This set us up perfectly for the evening raffle and auction…
with Mr Ian Hawkins calling the shots and our staff making some amazing bids to up the donations for ellenor with prizes such as 7 nights B&B in Sri Lanka & £300 Dial A Flight voucher.
With IQPC matching pound for pound the donations made by our staff, we achieved a fantastic total of £12,537!
This means in the 3 years we have hosted this fundraiser we have raised an amazing total of £35,716 which we know will go a long way to making a positive difference to people’s lives.
