Written by On August 16, 2018, more than 14,200 participants from around 800 companies ran through the Olympic Park and down to the Stadium, as part of the B2Run Berlin.
For the third consecutive year IQPC joined in the fun with 22 starters from across all departments in the business. Sporting the motto “get off the office chair and into your sport shoes” the B2Run encourages teams to get fit together and have some fun. The 5 km track is accessible to everyone and it was an amazing atmosphere and a great team day out. Congratulations to all our runners!
We asked Ian, one of our annual runners a bit more about his experience and why he takes part each year…
I enjoyed running around the grounds and into the stadium especially to finish on the stadium track. That was a great buzz! And I was so happy to be able to run a race again after being injured for many months.
The B2Run is great for team moral and there are the obvious health benefits too. A lot of praise goes out to some of my team mates who had zero training, but still signed up, got involved, and made it round the course. A great achievement.
