Last week we welcomed December by focusing on what the festive season is all about – the spirit of giving and finding time for others.
Each year IQPC London get together to support a wonderful charity who make an amazing difference to people’s lives – ellenor (https://ellenor.org/). ellenor is the only charitable service in the country to provide end-of-life, cancer and respite care to people of all ages in the hospice or in the comfort of their own home. An incredible 93p in every £1 donated to ellenor goes directly in to support and care for patients and families.
Getting into the sprit of Christmas throughout the day IQPC staff made donations through a variety of events.
As if the festive season doesn’t provide enough temptation, IQPC’s very own budding Bake-Off stars spoilt us rotten with a variety of delicious home-made chocolate cakes, rocky-roads, cup-cakes and a whole bunch of other tasty treats that had us contemplating our new year’s resolutions early.
This set us up perfectly for the evening raffle and auction, with MC Serkhan Ibrahim calling the shots and our staff making some amazing bids to up the donations for ellenor, and ensuring we beat our donation target of £7,000.
With IQPC matching pound for pound the donations made by our staff, we achieved a fantastic total of £15,931, which will go a long way to making a positive difference to people’s lives.
