How long have you been with CMP and what do you do here?
I have been with CMP as an accounting associate / customer service representative since February 2022. My job duties consist of working in the accounts receivable department to ensure payment is collected prior to our events, handling all receipts/invoices/transfers/changes requested by our vendors and making all back-end changes in our event management system.
What is your favorite thing about working at CMP?
My favorite thing so far is the genuine connection I made with everybody in our company. It feels like when someone gives you a compliment or asks how your day has been, they aren’t just saying it because they have to, but because they mean it.
What has your experience been with our company culture?
I have never felt more welcomed and appreciated than I do working here at CMP. Since my first day working here every person I have met has been the most sincere and genuine individual. It feels like we are working as a whole team instead of separate from each other and you can see it in every task that we accomplish together.
What have been your biggest accomplishment while on our team?
My biggest accomplishment so far is when I jumped into the driver’s seat day one to tackle the accounts’ receivable role and managing to cut it down to numbers that have not been seen in years pre-pandemic. I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish this task without the help of my peers guiding me when I hit a road bump.
