When did your IQPC career begin? 

I started at IQPC back in August of 2011, shortly after I graduated college. As a fresh college graduate, IQPC offered boundless opportunities for career development, supported by invaluable training to deliver great results.

What is your current role and responsibilities?

I’m currently the Sponsorship Marketing Team Lead in the U.S. office. Within this role, I lead an exceptional team of Marketers to drive Sponsorship enquiries through comprehensive marketing campaigns. We cover and support a wide variety of events spanning across multiple industries.

What do you think is unique about working at IQPC?

IQPC provides each and every one of their employees with significant opportunities for growth and career progression.  For those that are up for a challenge and are interested in further developing themselves as a professional, IQPC is the right company for you. The entrepreneurial spirit and hard work ethic in the office is intoxicating, which helps in motivating you to stay hungry.

What lessons have you learnt during your time here?

I’ve learnt that hard work, dedication, and persistence, will allow you to grow and flourish at IQPC. Additionally, it’s important to remember you are not an expert and there will always be people from which you can learn from.

How progressive do you think marketing strategy at IQPC is? 

The marketing strategy here at IQPC is quite extensive in a sense that you are given the opportunity to utilize a full range of direct and digital marketing channels, which is quite different than most companies.  In essence, you’re given ownership of your marketing campaigns; we analyze, strategize, and maximize our campaigns from the initial planning phase through to execution.

 How has your career developed since you started with us?

My career at IQPC started as a Sponsorship Sales Representative and within 1 year I became a Sales Manager.

After 2 ½ years in Sponsorship Sales, our Managing Director pulled me aside and presented a new opportunity to me (a role for which I’m currently in). The opportunity was to spearhead marketing campaigns specifically focused on driving Sponsorship for our events. With my firm understanding of our sales process, value proposition, and consistent sales performance, this position was a natural transition. The company provided me with an opportunity to utilize my knowledge in sales to position and market our events. Ultimately, IQPC provides an accelerated development path to those that work hard and drive bottom-line results.

What advice would you give to a new employee?

Stay hungry. Remain passionate. Be a sponge and soak in as much as you can.
