IQPC breast cancer logoOver thirteen thousand New Yorkers joined over a thousand breast cancer survivors in Central Park on Saturday, September 10, 2016 for the Susan G. Komen Greater NYC Race for the Cure. And the IQPC team was there to help run breast cancer out of town!

The Race is one day a year, but for women and families dealing with breast cancer, the fight is every day. Finding a cure is an ongoing effort.

Year by year, story by story, and dollar by dollar, the efforts of fundraisers save lives and help tens of thousands of New Yorkers. The money raised helps deliver food to women in treatment, offer transportation to chemo, and provide screenings. It also helps fund more research, reduce disparities, and find the cures.

“It was so much fun being there as a team getting to meet each others friends and families, and also very moving to see thousands of people crowding the streets in support of the survivors and those still fighting. We can’t wait to do it again next year!”

Emily, Office Manager & IQPC Race Team Coordinator!

Well done torace-for-cancer-5 our New York team who along with families and friends worked together to raise a fantastic $4,070.

And an extra big congratulations to our two highest individual fundraisers, who were recognized  for their contribution by being graced with the official race tutu to wear!
