Meet Nora Köstler! Nora has been with IQPC in our Berlin office for a few short months, but during that time she’s experienced a huge learning curve and is thoroughly enjoying her role as part of our EQ (inbound enquiries) team.
We recently interviewed Nora on the role and her experience with IQPC to day. Here’s what she had to share!
What has been your experience since joining IQPC Nora?
Joining the EQ team at IQPC in Berlin a few months ago brought exactly the career-challenge I was looking for. With a hospitality background, talking to customers was not new to me, but I had no clue on how to be successful in sales. It may sound strange, but for the first time I experienced proper on-the-job training that prepared me entirely for everything my position entails. Of course I have a long way to go before I’ll be the sales person I strive to be, but I can be assured to have the support from management and my colleagues to provide me with the knowledge I need to get there.
What is the culture of your office like?
The international atmosphere at IQPC and the great relationships with my colleagues and with management is something I really appreciate. Especially when you are new in your role, feeling the support around you gives you the extra bit of confidence to be successful in your job and to enjoy your daily work.
Are there any tips that you would like to share with anyone who is looking at a career in Sales?
Working in Sales does not mean you will be successful from the beginning, and not that you will stay on top once you have made your first deals. Working in Sales means working hard continuously and to be successful in Sales you have to have the endurance to stay positive even during times with no deals. The effort you put in today will eventually pay off, but it will unlikely be by tomorrow.
If you are interested in a sales career at IQPC we currently have various roles available in our offices globally and in our Berlin office where Nora is based.
